Verification Required after successful tasks, no verification button (Error ID: fe97ce82-83a1-4e5f-8cd3-a505d579cb33-602)

Verification Required appears mid-session after successful tasks (no verification button / no link) – Antigravity 2.0

Hi Antigravity Team,

I’m experiencing a persistent “Verification Required” error that appears after the agent has already successfully completed several tasks.

What happens:

I sign in successfully with my Google account.

The agent works normally and completes multiple tasks.

Suddenly, during a later request, it fails with Error: Verification Required.

There is no “Complete verification” button, no verification link, and no actionable way to proceed from the UI.

This is not a fresh login issue — the account is already authenticated and has been working for a while in the same session.

Environment:

OS: Windows 11

App: Antigravity 2.0 (freshly installed)

Previously also tried the latest Antigravity IDE (reinstalled)

Model used: Gemini 3.8 Flash (including High reasoning)

What I have already tried:

Fully reinstalled Antigravity IDE

Installed and used Antigravity 2.0

Signed out → fully closed the app → cleared Session Storage / Local Storage

Checked Google Account Security page and permissions

Confirmed 2-Step Verification is enabled

No pending security alerts visible on my Google account

Error IDs (recent ones):

fe97ce82-83a1-4e5f-8cd3-a505d579cb33-602

(I can provide more recent Error IDs if needed)

The issue seems to be an intermittent backend verification / eligibility flag that gets set after successful usage, but the client does not surface any verification URL or button.

Could you please check the account-side verification / entitlement status for my Google account and clear the flag if it is stuck?

Thank you for your help.

Hi @Lisalee2304,

Thanks for reaching out! That error simply means the Antigravity app timed out trying to connect to Google’s authentication servers. Because it timed out, the app doesn’t realize you’re fully signed in, which is why you’re stuck in that “Verification Required” loop.

To fix this, here’s what you can do:

  1. Check your network: If you are using a VPN, corporate proxy, or strict firewall/antivirus, please disable it temporarily. These often block the specific connections needed for verification.
  2. If the app UI keeps failing, open your terminal (Command Prompt or PowerShell) and run agy logout, followed by agy login. This will give you a direct web link in the terminal that you can copy and paste into your browser to complete the setup.

Let us know if turning off your VPN or using the terminal command helps you get past the error!
