[URGENT/WARNING] Google is in violation of South Korean Consumer Protection Laws (Antigravity Service Outage)

I am writing this as a professional developer and an AI Pro subscriber in South Korea. I am officially warning Google that your current handling of the “Antigravity” service failure is in direct violation of multiple South Korean Statutes, which could lead to significant legal liabilities and class-action lawsuits in the region.

1. Violation of the “Electronic Commerce Act” (Article 17, Paragraph 3): Under South Korean law, if a digital service’s content differs from what was advertised or is not fulfilled as per the contract, consumers have the right to cancel and receive a refund. My AI Pro subscription has been unusable for over 14 days due to “168h Quota Lock” and “HTTP 503 MODEL_CAPACITY_EXHAUSTED” (Trace ID: 0x6a7e38e48b56d206). This is a clear Breach of Contract.

2. Violation of the “Telecommunications Business Act” (Service Stability Obligations): Major service providers in Korea are legally mandated to ensure service stability and provide clear, localized notifications during outages. Google has failed to provide any official notice in Korean regarding the ongoing Antigravity issues, nor has it provided a viable recovery path for paid users.

3. Inadequate Compensation (Unfair Trade Practices): Google’s silent increase of storage to 5TB is a “meaningless compensation” that does not address the loss of the core service (AI Reasoning). Forcing an unwanted alternative reward instead of restoring the contracted service or providing a pro-rated refund can be viewed as an Unfair Trade Practice under the “Fair Trade Act.”

Our Demand: We are currently monitoring the situation with a group of affected Korean developers. If Google continues to ignore these server-side entitlement failures and refuses pro-rated refunds, we will escalate this matter to the Korea Consumer Agency (KCA) and the Korea Communications Commission (KCC) for formal investigation.

We strongly advise Google to immediately address the “168h Lockout Loop” and provide a legitimate refund process for the service downtime.
