URGENT: Project files and changes lost after Antigravity cleared conversation context and Agent execution error

Hello,

I need urgent help recovering an Antigravity project called “مراجعة وإعداد مشروع البرمجة”.

I had been working on this project continuously for the past 2–3 days, and the Agent made many important changes to the code and project files.

While I was giving the Agent a normal instruction, the conversation suddenly became too large and Antigravity showed:

“The server cleared a prefix of the conversation as it grew too large.”

Shortly after that, the Agent execution terminated with an error.

After this incident, many important changes from the previous 2–3 days disappeared from the project. I also asked the Agent to undo/revert its latest changes, but it was unable to restore the missing code.

I have now confirmed that the project/bot was still in a good and working state up to Prompt #2 on August 11, 2026.

I am asking if the Antigravity team can restore the project to the latest available state at or immediately after Prompt #2.

Please check whether there are any server-side checkpoints, snapshots, Agent state, conversation history, backups, or file history that could be used to recover the project.

If Prompt #2 is not available as an exact checkpoint, I would appreciate the closest available recovery point before the changes were lost.

Please also let me know if there is anything I should NOT do on my local machine to avoid overwriting potentially recoverable data.

  • Please try to recover your work by opening the Command Palette (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + P) and searching for “Local History: Find Entry to Restore,” which may allow you to roll back to the state before the crash.
  • Additionally, check your project directory for hidden .gemini or .cache folders containing backup states.
  • To help us investigate the root cause, please run the “Download Diagnostics” command from the Command Palette and submit the package via the in-app “Report Issue” option.

Finally, ensure you are running the latest versions: Antigravity 2.0 (2.6.0), Antigravity IDE (2.1.1), and Antigravity CLI (1.1.11), as recent patches include stricter safeguards for local history and agent crashes.
