URGENT: Google AI Pro Account Locked for a Week Instead of 5-Hour Refresh

Hi Antigravity Support Team,

I am submitting this as an urgent request. I am an active subscriber to the Google AI Pro plan. I specifically paid for and upgraded to this tier because the official documentation clearly advertises a “high, generous quota, refreshed every five hours.”

However, my account has been locked out, and the system is currently showing a multi-day/weekly cooldown period instead of the promised 5-hour refresh. I was working on a standard coding session, and now my workflow is completely paralyzed. I have a critical project deadline approaching, and being subjected to a massive multi-day lockout on a paid plan is completely unacceptable and contradicts the advertised benefits.

Could you please review my account immediately and lift this weekly rate-limit lockout? I urgently need to get back to my project.

Thank you for your prompt assistance.

Hi @Fedia,

Thank you for your report. We understand the urgency of this for your project deadline.

For Google AI Pro subscribers, the quota structure includes a 5-hour rolling refresh for continuous work. However, it is also subject to a weekly baseline limit for premium models, once reached, the system displays a multi-day cooldown until the next cycle resets.

To continue to work, you can enable AI Credits within your settings to bypass baseline usage limits. If your AI credits run out, you have the option to top up for those intensive development sprints.

I gave up on Google Antigravity. There’s no transparency about weekly quota. Today is impossible to wait 4/5 days to refresh the quota and continue working in our projects. Google should learn from Anthropic. They have clear info about 5hr and weekly quota, and their quota doesn’t exhaust so fast like Google’s. So, I migrate entirely to Claude. Much more efficient and clear.

This seems to be the standard response, but many pro subscribers have experienced this 7 day refresh even after not using antigravity for days or weeks, so the weekly quota explanation doesn’t really hold up.

I have upgraded to Ultra to get around this and it doesn’t feel great to just throw money at the problem, but it does work and I take advantage of many Google services anyway.

For anyone considering doing this, a word of caution: be very careful of 3rd party tools when you do this - Google is extremely vigilant about quota harvesting for ultra subscribers. I didn’t pay attention to some of the extensions I had installed innocently to try and get more transparency into quotas and I ended up getting locked out as these technically violated the TOU.

In pro this didn’t trigger anything so it was very frustrating to pay the extra cash only to be met with a lockout.

same here I got weekly limit after first 2 sessions of Antigravity. So it is definitely unusable at Pro Plan. Had to move to claude
