Unacceptable Antigravity Quotas for Gemini 3.1 Pro – Workflow Completely Blocked!

Hello,

To provide you with greater control and a seamless path to scale, we are evolving our Google AI plans by introducing built-in AI credits that can now be utilized directly within Antigravity.

Under this updated structure, our Google AI Pro tier is tailored for practical builders, offering generous limits for Gemini Flash alongside a baseline quota to experience our most advanced premium models. For developers operating at the highest scale who require consistent, high-volume access to our most complex models, Google AI Ultra serves as the ideal comprehensive solution.
Furthermore, we’ve designed these plans with maximum flexibility in mind; if you are on the Pro plan and require additional capacity or deeper premium access for intensive development sprints, you can seamlessly top up your AI credits to customize your limits and continue shipping your best work without interruption

This is IDE is basically unusable for serious dev work now due to the latest limits.

I’ve been looking at how we can limit the token usage, I’ve disabled Knowledge and Chat memory in the AntiGravity settings, not sure if this would help.

There’s a serious issue with the latest quota system when compared to Cursor/Codex/Claude Code

Either AntiGravity is using extra tokens compared to other agents by sending more info about the user, workspace, codebase etc in the prompts or the usage limits have been reduced to something that is at least half of what competitors allow.

Stop dressing up a price hike as a feature update. This message completely ignores the fact that the Pro plan is now functionally useless for real-world development. The “usage limits” we’re seeing now are a joke compared to what was advertised when we signed up.

It’s obvious what’s happening here: you’ve slashed the Pro capacity to force us into buying credits or upgrading to Ultra. Calling this “greater flexibility” is insulting to our intelligence. I didn’t subscribe to be constantly locked out just to maintain my previous workflow. This isn’t the product I paid for.

I just canceled my Pro subscription. Let’'s call this what it is: a silent price hike disguised as a “seamless path to scale”. You cannot quietly slash a paid developer tool’s capacity by 80% and expect us to just buy more credits. I’m moving my workflow back to Cursor today. Good luck retaining developers with this model :victory_hand:

Well, I have noticed a significant drop in the limits of the AI credits that we had earlier, which is a bad thing because we are on paid plans. It feels like we are paying the same price but getting less of the actual service, which is not a good thing to do. I mean, today Anthropic went online and said, “Here you go, we are doubling your free limits during our non-peak hours,” and here, even after paying, we are getting our limits reduced, which is ridiculous. I mean what are you doing Google ? We pay for the service which means we should be getting them.

I have the same problem. It’s absurd that I pay for the PRO version and can’t use it because the limit expired after 3 hours, and I have to wait 5 days. In January and February, I was working normally and had no problems. When I exceeded the limit, I waited 4 hours and continued. Now I have to wait 5 days. Such changes are unacceptable. I don’t know if I will renew my subscription for another month if this happens.

Thanks for the tip, I applied it here too and I’m using it as a temporary solution for now.

i used the extra credit as you SAID? 1000 credit got wiped out i have 100 left after using pro LOW not even the high with the smallest coding efforts, it was reviewing the code and it consumed over 600 in less than 5 mins,
i have a full annual subscription, YOU CAN’T CHANGE MY LIMITS AFTER I PAID A FULL YEAR WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE

I don’t use Antigravity, but I’ve started to use Gemini API in my IDE (VS Code) since the 25th of February. After some “update” or just issue on March, 14 I can’t use chat-models in my VS Code at all. I’ve just run my IDE on Saturday the first time and I’ve got an error of estimated rate limits. I had no such issues since I’ve purchased the Pro version until that Saturday.
How can I spent all my quotas per one day?
The worst issue is that I can’t even check or get some information about my quotas and percentage of it usage, because I don’t use the Google Cloud or Antigravity or something else that can provide you the dashboards or another information about the rate limits/quotas.
I’ve spent 2 days in a row to understand what has happened - if I did something wrong, or I needed to solve some issues in my Gemini Assist Code plugin (VS Code), or somewhere else, but I had no luck. I’d be very grateful if someone helps me to find any useful information about my limits and quotas in my case.
So, in my humble opinion the Google suddenly decided to decrease quotas and limits without any annoncements or explanations. I’ve read here two comments from Google Team about their great work of optimization features had been released, but I didn’t excited about that. For all of us it means that we paid for Pro plan just to “tasty test” some advantages of Ultra plan. Thank you guys, but we would prefer to know about these qoutas and limits BEFORE we paid for the Pro plan.
I’ll wait the solution for next several days and if this issue doesn’t solve, I’ll move to another AI provider.

It’s incredibly frustrating to see a $20/month subscription marketed as if it were an act of “generosity.” We aren’t “experiencing” these models as a favor; we are paying customers purchasing a service, and we expect a minimum standard of usability. advertised paid access features as if they were some kind of magnanimous gift .

Yeah, I totally agree. It’s not a business model if you just make arbitrary decisions because it happens to work out that way. Don’t be too American, please. That doesn’t make any sense!

u kidding me? u cant be serious… so ur saying.. pro plan is just.. morelimits for flash… but zero for pro? im done.. like 80% of antigravity users.. unsubscribing..

I’ve just logged to Antigravity after 5 days (I used it for a few hours 2-3 days before that). I was welcomed with a 5 days wait for 3.1 Pro. I’m paying for a Pro subscription. What’s going on?
The subscription is called Pro and I can’t use Pro? It seems like it’s an error.

Pro used to be worth it, and coding with Pro in Antigravity a great experience. Now I can barely get any work done with the agent, especially when my quota gets used up with model errors. Google - handle the usage limiting in a different way. Blocking work for a week after a few prompts at the Pro level is ungood.

I got my application fixed by downgrading it to older stable version. for now flash works and claude is showing correct token limit. i am vibe coding again. pro is still showing hit of 7 days to reset. anyways my build is complete and working on test so nothing much to build. A simple fix for now all vibe coders DOWNGRADE!!! @EVERYONE dowgrade and check if it works for you for now flash is working which was not using the latest build.

“Pro” subscriber here (LOL!). Antigravity has been close to unusable today. I’ve long given up any hope of Pro or Claude models lasting any longer than 5-6 prompts per week. But now Flash is crying after every couple of prompts. Pro used to be enough for me to work a solid 5-6 hrs a day. I fear Google drew us all in with pretty good token quotas and have now decided enough is enough. Pity. I liked the IDE. Time to check out some local LLM coding options I guess.

I would like to request the Antigravity and Gemini developers to jointly work on this using Claude Opus 4.6

Thank you for reading this.

Why were users not notified and given option to cancel subscription before you decide to change your deliverables?

In my case, Gemini3.1 quota was depleted without use, can you explain why is that?

I’ve paid you €241.89 in the last 11 months, only for us to have to wait 4 days for PRO (!!!) limits. Have you completely lost your minds? I used up my PRO limits in Antigravity within 2 hours. RIDICULOUS. Last month I could code for days, now not even 120 minutes!

it happening right now bro) all «Ultra» subscribers now have quota like you had with «Pro» 2 months ago, or even worse. Same weekly limit, same 30-60 mins of work with trivial task, same silent from Google, but for 250$. Nothing new
