The quota is dramatically reduced, without informing the users, we are paying for a value and suddenly we see quota reductions.
@Alex_Segarra I am actually baffled that it’s been 6 hours and there has been no response to your message.
I second the message sent by @Alex_Segarra , and am waiting on the prompt response of @Mrinal_Ghosh or another representative from Google. @Google_Google
I am on the Google AI Ultra plan, and the new limits you have introduced, and more so, the fact that you have introduced limits without informing your paid clients, or community, is absolutely unacceptable.
Fully behind @Alex_Segarra’s questions. Those four points are exactly what needs to be answered — not paraphrased, not deflected, answered.
The silence since that post was written says a lot. $250/month is not a tier where “we’ll get back to you” is acceptable.
Ultra provides LESS VALUE than it did a couple of days ago. Your Gemini model is inferior to Opus in every way. There is little reason to keep paying you $250 for that.
You’re going to find real soon that most Ultra users feel that way, and that it’s a REALLY BAD idea to … your customers willing to pay for the premium tiers, which is all you did here.
Sorry for posting this but has anyone moved to another platform yet and what is their experience?
Cursor, Claude, VS code with extensions? I see on Cursor a Ultra $200 a month plan with x20 usage but anyone have actual experience if its better than this plan from Google now?
If i get weekly limits on a $250/mo plan, i’m gonna start looking into claude code. I basically exclusively use claude in antigravity anyways
Yes, I have seen the pattern that they have only responded to pro subscribers telling them to upgrade to Ultra but we have had 0 response to any of the Ultra users.
it is utter disrespect.
same let me know what you find out.
After a few hours work i got putnon hold for 3 days. This afte the ai messednup the.coding and blew credits delivering holow ware by omitting codein the debug run. Hat to revert to Deepseek to get the work do e.
I got about 10 minutes of claude use, then I ran out of Quota, on Ultra. It’s a joke. We don’t want ya nonesense token system. We just want 5 hour refreshes with quota that matches what we pay for.
@Google_Google where are you? NO answers for any Ultra customer yet.
its clear that Antigravity will be sunsetted soon. they want you to use the Google AI studio which is fine for basic hobby coding with zero control on your stack. they are becoming another Base44, Bolt.new etc etc. They want to own everything and devs can get their volume AI on an enterprise plan.
countdown has begun.
Google’s announcement regarding the integration of the Antigravity coding agent into Google AI Studio was made on March 20, 2026.
The announcement was primarily delivered through the official Google Blog, where Google unveiled a new “vibe coding” experience.
blog.google +1Key Details of the Announcement
-
Purpose: The update was designed to turn simple prompts into “production-ready” applications, utilizing the Antigravity agent as the intelligence layer.
-
Integration Scope: The agent in AI Studio now supports full-stack features, including built-in Firebase integration for databases and authentication, as well as the ability to install npm packages and handle multiplayer support.
-
Transition from Firebase Studio: Coinciding with this update, Google announced the sunset of Firebase Studio on March 19, 2026, explicitly directing users to migrate to either Google AI Studio for browser-based prototyping or the Antigravity IDE for local development.
-
Strategic Messaging: While the standalone Antigravity IDE is still promoted as the “home base” for agentic development, the AI Studio integration is being marketed as the “fastest path from prompt to production”.

Social Media/Community: Discussions on Reddit and X (formerly Twitter) began circulating the news immediately following the blog post.
I knew it! I said this yesterday, it is clear they want us off this soon as possible.
A few hours? a few minutes!
do google engineers even use their own product?
I don’t get it, we bought ultra, which included AG. I don’t understand as AI Studio is API based I don’t have unlimited use their either?? And pro accounts got nuked on STUDIO months ago.
I’ll discribe my ultra plan until google give me what ultra plan paid for. it’s unusable for me now.
Yes, I think the term ULTRA should be retired. its obviously not profitable in the previous guise and was used to gather users to their platforms with an all you can eat menu. Honestly, who knows, but it looks like Google will be offering AI Studio as their builder platform going forward. I can’t see why AG will survive when you can get everything in VSCode and costs less to run.
After trying to work on something simple for barely 30 mins, says im over quota for opus tokens, they advertised that you get extra opus and such and now dont. They declined my refund request after 48 hrs from payment and i told them im not even using it, its not working for me. They should refund all customers who recently paid $250. They are just keeping it like nothing. Atleast step up to the plate and admit what you did and dont burn your customers.
