I can confirm the claude quotas dropped dramatically today. in half an hour basically refactoring a latex table I consumed 40% on ultra using claude opus 4.6. This is unacceptable, and we demand answers. Technical problems can happen, but the lack of transparency is unacceptable
I can also confirm that the Quotas on Ultra are close to unusable now. I’m hoping to get my project finished by the end of next week and cancel the subscription. It’s been good for the past 3 months but at £234.99 p/m it’s not worth it anymore. Another subscriber they will lose.
i think i will go chinese. Way cheaper and almost same quality. Any one experience with those? Maybe go cursor. The composer 2 is build on kimi k2.5 and should be really good and cheap, The amount you will get for 250 euro. I dont think i will run out soon
on the ai ultra plan. unsable now.
Bbefore yesterday I never managed to get below 40% of my 5 hour quota with extreme heavy use (for me that means 3 agents going at once nonstop) .
Yesterday I was using a single agent and ran out of quota in 2.5 hours. It happened twice.
I will not be renewing if it stays like this. To drastically reduce quotas silently and no announcement feels like rug pull. I hate that google has no transparency.
A Google employee responds to a thread about Ultra with an answer meant for Pro users… After that, it doesn’t even matter what you say. Imagine going through all those grueling interviews to get into Google, only to fail at basic reading comprehension. How are we supposed to explain anything to these people? We can’t. This is the fundamental problem that needs to be solved before anything else.
same here , the comsuer so fast
Do you seriously expect unlimited usage on a $200 plan? Inference is expensive. Your 200 bucks doesn’t cut it, sorry.
Switching to Claude again
Way more tokens for 200 euro there.
I still expect more than 90 minutes of use at a time. With a $200 a month, 90 minutes each 5 hours really doesn’t fit that price tag
What we expect is some level of consistency and clarity. They clearly changed the quota to be about 20% of what it was the week before, without saying anything besides “now you get credits you can use”. The quota is less than on the plans by OpenAI or Anthropic, which is weird given that Google has more money than both of them by a lot.
I just downgraded my Ultra and will move to a different provider. Tranparency is the key ![]()
Who said anything about unlimited? That is not the point, and you know it.
The point is that the token change is a joke, and the complete lack of proper communication around it is even worse. Nobody expects magic for $200. But people do expect transparency, consistency, and not having the terms effectively changed without being told.
Hello,
Thank you for bringing these concerns on quota in AI Ultra plan to our attention. Please be assured that I have shared your feedback with our internal team for further review.
We appreciate your continued patience as we work to enhance the Antigravity experience.
Thank you, for now you have confirmed that even upgrading to the Ultra plan is no better. The Google AI we used to know is gone for good.
Google said themself that the quota is generous when we pay for the service bro.
And they keep cutting quota without any announcement thats the main point.
wow the reduced quota for Ultra plan is crazy!! I only did single session maybe for an hour and all my quota has been used up on Ultra plan!! I never have this problem before, there will not no point to pay $250/month for this crap!! good job Google, you fked up again! There is a reason why I don’t want to use Gemini 3.1 Pro in Antigravity, the main reason is Gemini 3.1 Pro is hallucination like crazy even with a short discussion!
I suspect Google used the December credit limit for the Pro card on the Ultra card.
