Transitioning from Tier 1 to Tier 2 – Request Pending

Hi everyone,

I’m currently using Google AI Studio for my e-commerce business and I’m looking to upgrade from Tier 1 to Tier 2 to accommodate our growing traffic.

I submitted the official request form about three weeks ago, but I haven’t received a response or seen any change in my quota status yet.

We run an e-commerce store for personalized gifts.
We use the API to generate unique, personal designs based on customer input. As we scale, the Tier 1 limits are becoming a bottleneck for our flow

My questions are:

  1. What are the specific requirements (usage, billing history, etc.) to successfully move to Tier 2?

  2. Is a 3-week wait time normal for the manual review process?

  3. Are there any specific steps I might have missed to expedite this?

I have already set up my billing account and it is active. Any advice or help from the community or the Google team would be greatly appreciated.
