This account is ineligible for higher rate limits through a Google AI plan at this time

After my Google AI Pro subscription expired I started getting ‘This account is ineligible for higher rate limits through a Google AI plan at this time’ / Starter Quota in Antigravity.

This now happens on every Gmail account I try, including a completely brand-new account that has never been used with Antigravity before.

Full local cleanup (Credential Manager, all AppData folders, reinstall, revoked all connections) did not help.

This points to a device- or IP-level restriction on my current machine/network.

Please review and clear any device/IP/fingerprint flags associated with my hardware so I can use the free tier & paid plans properly.

The paid account i used last while it was working well before it expired & the bug came up was jer****gmail.lcom. please reply asapp. please

Hi @jeruelrichard,

Thanks for the details, and sorry for the trouble! There are two things going on here.

1. Starter Quota after your plan expired is expected. Once Google AI Pro ends, the account goes back to the free Starter Quota.

2. The “ineligible” message on every account. This message usually means Google One sees the account as not eligible for AI plans in its region. That’s typically tied to the account’s country, not your computer. New accounts created on the same network often end up with the same country, so they show it too.

Please check:

  1. Account country: go to policies.google.com/terms on each account and see which country it shows.
  2. Plan availability: check that country against the regions where Google AI plans are available.
  3. No VPN or proxy: if you’ve used one recently, turn it off and sign in on your normal connection.
  4. Renew and refresh: if your country is supported, renew AI Pro on the same account, then run “Reset Onboarding” (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+P) and sign in again.

If your account country is supported and it still shows “ineligible” after renewing, reply with the country shown and a screenshot of the message.
