Hey Google, here’s an idea. While these problems persist with quotas in AI Studio, move all us long suffering, but loyal developers onto an unlimited free tier until you solve it. You have cost us time and money with this debacle while you sit on a $4 trillion market cap. Show some spirit.
Just terrible this new update, Had to make some minor (most textual) changes before going live, and now nothing is working anymore just spinning and “working” for almost more than an hour for a hange that could have been done in 5 to 10 seconds. Please rollback the changes test it and after a good test ask us programmers, if we want to test out the new situation and move us in small groups. Work of 4 months down the drain.
I’m honestly leaving google Ai studio for good. Moved my project to Visual Studio Code got copilot Pro from Github 10$ per month - it has many AI models. I use Claude sonet 4.6 and it works like a charm. While google Ai studio was doing many mistakes while it edits the code then Sonet works like a charm and corrects many mistakes or misconcepts that AI google studio did.
Good bye Google Ai studio.
not sure if this will work for others, but my app was stuck on the loading for 3 days. i tried this prompt: Why is my app just stuck on loading? Do not make any changes? and it gave feedback how to fix, i told it to proceed and it works for now…
Im done with Google Ai studio…
- It did many mistakes
- while it corrects the code it deletes other logics even if you prompt it not to
- when I prompt it - I want to implement changes myself, you are not allowed to edit the code - it sometimes ignores me and start editing code itself. This never happened to me with Claud Sonet.
In the result I had to create many references files, to have it as backup - as otherwise it just simply destroys the code and then I had to go back to snapshots and loose countless of hours. - now this outage …I’m done…
No such problems with Visual Studio Code - full control - all saved locally and many AI model to solve the issues and help with the code.
And it does no mistakes like google did, better reasoning and bigger context window, does not delete the code or optimized it without your permission.
I recommend everybody to consider it instead of loosing countless of hours and nerves trying to repair sth what google screwed up…and rely on their systems…especially if you work on big and complex projects..
Can the copilot pro actually help develop full stack app or you are using github spark?
To google:
Your platform is hopeless. I am switching…
Of course you can with Sonet Claude or other model. Get free sonet first tell it about your app and it will answer. You can get free trail for co pilot pro from GitHub and test it. I did and I’m switching to paid pro plan 10$ per month. (Several different Ai models)
I have not been able to do anything fior 2 weeks now!!! not able to use images anything at all!!! I wanted to start building my projerct and I am already behind 2 weeks without any start!! can this platform be relyable in any way?
Is the AI studio done for good? More than 2 weeks is a disaster you won’t be able to recover from simply.
Users moved to other platforms, and I see many users learning how to use your rivals’ tools.
Great job, nice update ![]()
Can anyone tell me if I want to take a previous project from aistudio, what’s the best other platform to bring it to?
According to my little knowledge there is currently no other plateform offering as complete solution as Google to develop, host, database connection, authentication solutions, etc…
And what could happen to the existing code if we continue now to develop with a different tool?
So unfortunately, it seems quite difficult to easily move a project somewhere else.
But according to the situation, I’m very interested to listen to you all!
And now, I’m having a block both of free and paid tier… just why? I waited a day, why does it say my quota have been reach even after waiting one, or even two days??? I’m so done with this compagny…
Whats going on Team Google. Its mean so long time and you guys are not able to resolve the issues. Within just 5 to 6 prompts getting error of daily generation limits completed and even after 24 hours the error is still continuing. Already delayed on project by 20 Days and still due to this error cannot move ahead.
It’s been 16 days!
Isn’t this crazy?
They could simply write a new AI studio platform from scratch by this time.
What are the devs doing? This must somehow reach the higher ups.
Please, youtubers, influencers, google employees. ANYONE that can reach the masses or google heads of departments. Tell the story, spread the word. This must stop, AI studio managers clearly don’t care about us and we need to make some noise. Any journalists on this forum?
I ask moderators not to remove my post. I’m not doing anything wrong, I’m just asking to spread the word so this situation can reach the higher ups. Can’t you see? It’s been 16 days and we don’t even get any updates and they’re showing fake status pages.
We need to sprad the word. If you keep deleting my post, I will start spreading the word about that also.
other user mentioned the Dyad, will test…
Do not use Antigravity …limits are disaster there.
It is completely broken at this point. What it was capable of doing yesterday it can’t even come close to today. The publish button is back, but I can’t publish to Google cloud anymore it just errors.
I’ve been working on an app to collect leads in person at a conference. It uses Nano Banana to create a custom image and sends it to them in an email. It’s been working great but for over a week I’ve been unable to save any changes to the project or deploy any new versions. The conference is in 2 days. I need to make changes to the app! Wish me luck everybody!
On March 5th (Japan time), I wondered if Code Assistant had returned to normal, so I spent a lot of time talking to Code Assistant with the apps that had stopped working to try to fix the problem.
What I discovered was that as of March 5th, updating the project would build correctly. However, the resulting project’s “app container would break Google’s infrastructure (proxy/routing).” This was the final insight I gained from Code Assistant and myself.
When this happened, my browser received no response from the server, and as a result, the app didn’t work.
However, if I wasn’t accessing Code Assistant when the Google issue was occurring, the problem didn’t occur.
And even now, the apps that weren’t working remain stuck, while the apps that worked are still working fine.
The above is from my own environment, so I can’t say for sure that this applies to everyone.
I understand that the issue that is occurring in your environment all over the world can be traced back to an issue where the network environment settings in your application were not properly configured. This issue has not yet been fixed, and there has been no announcement that it has been fixed. To check whether it is working properly, you have to request a re-run of the build yourself.
It’s the same thing that happened to me.
