Subject: Google AI Studio Preview Is Blank Despite Successful Build

Hello Google AI Studio Support,

I am experiencing an issue with the Preview feature in Google AI Studio Build Mode.

The project builds successfully and shows:

BUILD SUCCESSFUL

However, when I open the Preview panel, the entire preview area is completely blank/white. The Preview container itself is visible, but the application UI does not render.

Problem details:

  • The project builds successfully without compilation errors.
  • The Preview panel opens normally.
  • The Preview area remains completely white.
  • No application interface is displayed.
  • Refreshing/reloading the Preview does not resolve the issue.
  • The issue appears to be related to the Preview runtime or synchronization rather than the build process.

Expected behavior:

After a successful build, the Preview should launch the application and display the initial UI normally.

Actual behavior:

The Preview opens but shows only a blank white screen.

Please investigate whether this is:

  • A Preview runtime issue
  • A synchronization problem between the successful build and Preview
  • A Preview environment issue with the current Android project
  • Or another platform-side problem

I have attached a screenshot showing the issue.

Please help me restore the Preview functionality without rebuilding the entire project or losing the current project state.

Have you tried putting in the chat window

The preview window is blank. Can you check please

Or other problems tell it what the problem is
Most likey it will fix it and tell you what was wring

Usually that is an app crash, without showing errors. Sometimes you can open the browsers Dev console (F12) and you might see the error. Or, you can ask the app bot to investigate the issue. Most of the time the app bot has been able to fix it when this happens to me
