But it was there all the time. I posted this link a few days ago. Still it doesn’t mean “deprecation” and we need to push Google to give us the answer who and where can use Gemini 2.5 pro model then. ---

No the Note is recently added. I don’t have a power to bend the corporate. They all are blood sucking leeches, all they care about is Money. So their decisions are oriented and Guided by the Profit not by the consumer who use it. ---

If no one ever speaks up, they will care even less about users and act with even less restraint. We should let more people know about this. All they care about is profit and their stock price, but in business, user trust is everything. Even if the only result is that more people learn about this and choose not to support a company that is this arrogant, this dishonest, and this dismissive of its users’ rights, that alone would be worth it. ---

Totally agree. It’s worth it to continue press on them in every available channel. Please, open more tickets, insist on resolving the issue, post and comment on X. That information we see on Google api page [https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/models/gemini-2.5-pro](https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/models/gemini-2.5-pro) contradicts itself. If Gemini 2.5 pro isn’t deprecated and limited to some of the users, we need to know who they are and where 2.5 pro is available. ---

But we don’t have any cloud projects. We work in AI Studio Playground via Google One subscriptions. That’s why we didn’t receive such email in the past. OP talks about a different thing here. So I think your point isn’t valid for our issue. ---

I think you may want to take a closer look. It clearly says October 20. As I wrote in my post, even the earliest announced removal date, October 20, is still a long way off. Given that this was taken down so suddenly, I’m not sure how you can describe it as having been “announced long ago.” Perhaps you should also read more carefully what people are actually saying in the replies. ---

So as per that Page, No Deprecation date is announced for Gemini 2.5 Pro in AI Studio Playground! Actually that 20 Oct, 2026 Date is for Gemini Enterprise, Hence they clearly messaged those. So making the model unavailable for Gemini 2.5 Pro in AI Studio Playground is not in their cards it seems. They done it arbitrarily without any notification!
