# Support batch job update through webhooks?

OpenAI can notify user about batch job status update through webhooks. Can Gemini support that?

Gemini Batch API does not support webhook callbacks for job status updates. You will need to poll the batch job status manually and handle any notifications on your end. For more details, please refer to the official [documentation](https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/batch-api).
