Hello Google Gemini API Team,
I am requesting a manual review of my Gemini API Free Tier project.
My Google AI Studio project currently shows:
Project name: SSB Health Care
Project ID: ssb-health-care
Billing Tier: Unavailable
Status: Restricted
All Gemini API requests from my application return:
403 PERMISSION_DENIED
“Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”
I would like to use the Gemini API Free Tier for development and testing. I do not want to enable paid billing or add prepaid credits at this time.
The application is a healthcare report analysis application that uses Gemini to analyze uploaded medical reports and provide structured informational summaries. The API is called server-side from my Next.js application and the API key is stored as a server-side environment variable.
I have created a Gemini API key for the project, but the project itself remains Restricted and API requests are denied.
Could you please manually review my project/account and let me know why Gemini API access is restricted, and whether Free Tier access can be restored?
I am not requesting higher limits or paid-tier access. I would like to remain on the standard Free Tier.
