Subject: Gemini API Free Tier — 403 PERMISSION_DENIED — Request for manual review
Hello Gemini API Team,
I am requesting a review of Gemini API access for my Google Cloud project.
Project name: Solis Gemini
Project ID: gen-lang-client-04235070..
Billing tier: Free Tier
API: Generative Language API / Gemini API
Model tested: gemini-3.8-flash
Every generateContent request returns:
HTTP 403 PERMISSION_DENIED
I have verified that:
- Gemini API is enabled;
- the API key was created in Google AI Studio and belongs to this project;
- the project is shown as Free Tier;
- Gemini 3.8 Flash has active Free Tier rate limits in AI Studio;
- the project shows no Restricted or Unavailable status;
- the request reaches Google successfully;
- no billing is required for our intended low-volume Free Tier usage.
The intended use is a low-volume local-business visibility analysis product. We want to stay within the Gemini API Free Tier limits.
Could you please check whether an automated access, eligibility, security or Trust & Safety restriction is affecting this project/account and restore Free Tier generateContent access if appropriate?
