Stitch Generation Failing When Accessed via API Using MCP Server

Hello Stitch Support Team,

I am trying to access and generate screens through the Stitch API using the MCP server. However, the generation is repeatedly failing with the following message:

“Something unexpected happened and Stitch couldn’t complete your generation. Please try again in a moment.”

This error is occurring repeatedly whenever I try to generate/access the screen through the API using the MCP server.

Could you please investigate the issue and let me know what might be causing it and how I can resolve it?

I am attaching a screenshot of the error for reference.

Hi Team,

Could you please check the account associated with s..@gmail.com and confirm whether the monthly limit of 350 screen generations has been exhausted?

Also, please let me know:

  • How many screens have been generated so far using this account?

  • How many screen generations are still remaining for this month?

The same is happening to me. The weird thing is that if I copy the prompt sent through MCP and paste it in the stitch chat, it works.
But as OP any prompt through MCP fails
And I haven’t reached the credit limit

I wanted to follow up regarding the screen generation issue. Currently, the functionality is working for some screens, but it is consistently failing for certain screens.
