# Static noise/artifact at the end of TTS generation (gemini-2.5-flash-preview-tts) 2.5 pro and 3.1 flash

am experiencing a persistent static/strange noise at the very end of generated TTS audio clips. I initially suspected it was caused by trailing formatting characters, but after completely cleaning the text of any special characters, the artifact still persists.

The issue seems to happen consistently when generating longer speech blocks or using multiple speech blocks sequentially.

We have just launched the new Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS (`gemini-3.8-flash-tts`) and Gemini 3.8 Flash-Lite TTS (`gemini-3.8-flash-lite-tts`) models: [Google AI Studio](https://aistudio.google.com/docs/speech-generation)

Could you please test with gemini-3.8-flash-tts and let us know if you are still experiencing the same audio issue?
