ahh. the ai takes a lot of time just to start thinking in google ai studio. fix it. also, ita takes some time to get started in firebase studio too. ( i have a great internet connectio. no problem from my side)

Thanks for reaching out to us. For Gemini 3 Pro Preview model, the default dynamic thinking level is set to "high" .The thinkingLevel parameter, recommended for Gemini 3 models and onwards, lets you control reasoning behavior. You can set thinking level to "low" or "high".
Could you please try setting the thinkingLevel parameter to “low” and let us know if the delay still persists?
same. It starts thinking approximately 55-70 secs leter. Till that time, it shows - only the circle is loading. Atleast add any stage like ( sending or loading, or anythibg related to that)

Thanks for the update. I have tested on my end with a simple prompt and thinkingLevel parameter set to “low”, the thinking time was approximately 15 seconds.
Since the reasoning delay is highly dependent on the complexity and context of the task, Could you please share an example of prompt you were using? This will help us reproduce this issue on our end.
