There used to be errors, but now it is to the next level. There is no way to reset the AI chat, so the context is uncontrollable, replacing a bad UX (no chat history) with worse (no chat clearing [a common technique when coding with AI]). Gemini prints code in the chat, and when it does make file edits, it will truncate and replace code with “// … existing code …” blocks. It breaks things more often than it works. Also opening the code editor on larger files tends to lock up the program now most of the time.
This is not a solved issue. It is ongoing and makes the program very difficult to use.
