I recently renewed my subscriptions and discovered that all family member accounts now share a single quota. Remarkably, the overall quota limit was not increased to accommodate this change.
I am currently paying $40 USD for two accounts, yet I am hitting weekly limits after very minimal usage.
The value proposition is further diminished by frequent “server load” errors; these errors occur without explanation but still seem to count against the usage limits, effectively charging us for failed requests.
Had there been an announcement regarding the transition to a shared, non-scaling quota or the ongoing stability issues affecting those limits, I would not have renewed these subscriptions.
I likely would have pivoted to API-based usage or alternative platforms where the cost-to-value ratio is more transparent.
I’ve never actually experienced a server load error, except for one day last week. Maybe you’re in a regionally locked area? The shared pool is a great move though, so many people were abusing the system by reselling access, which is what caused the ‘Server Busy’ issues in the first place and make them become so restrictive.
That said, I agree that they need to adjust the quota for Pro. Right now, the GPT Codex Plus plan is much more generous than the Antigravity Pro plan.
I’m an Ultra plan user. The quotas have been merged, and if I use it for about 30 minutes, our entire family limit is reached, leaving no one else able to use it. This is bad
Alright I am done. I wasted 400 credits to only generate shitty work where i had to press 10 times retry because the servers were ducking busy. why am i even paying for this.
Might as well go pay the API because that I can know what I am paying for.
