I did not say that. I am not insecure because my app is unique. There is only one app that is somewhat similar to mine and developed by an agricultural company. People commented on my posts negatively and positively. I never said that they were insulting me. If nobody likes my app, I do not care. Why do I care? I have been working with startups from the beginning of my career and I have seen people failing with very good ideas and amazing teams. Like you said Claude released similar to Omni. This also happened to me in the past. I released a real-time translation app and Google also included real-time translation after 6 months of my release. https://photohala.wixsite.com/icamtranslator. I did not say anything about judges. Failure is common in startups and you get frustrated but my experience tells me that you do not need to take it seriously.
Dude, you just said this:
I am not insecure because my app is unique.
I did not say anything about judges.
In the same thread where you said this:
Cool down. It is a forum for discussion. I feel something, I said. I mean I did not say that judges are corrupt. You are playing mental games. From the start of the competition, I saw that you are supporting each other. There are not only 2-3 apps. There is one person who developed a similar app for blind people. I voted for Omni and that app also. I have nothing against you.
I appreciate you expressing your feelings. Now, Let’s try to keep the discussion focused on what’s constructive and adding value going forward.
We don’t know their perspective and how they perceive things (I agree with the Pooh that they won’t be influenced by these chats), however the judging criteria is on the competition site:
"Judging Criteria
Winners will be selected by an expert panel from Google
Remarkability
Your submission brilliantly showcases AI in a way that is both meaningful and impactful, delivering a superior and remarkable experience.
Creativity
Your submission is creative, original, unexpected, and versatile. It is not just a copy of something that already exists, but rather something new and innovative.
Usefulness
Your submission should clearly identify the specific group of people your project aims to help. Describe the problems or difficulties these individuals face, and then explain how your solution directly tackles those challenges. Highlight the positive changes your solution brings to their lives or to society as a whole.
Impactfulness
Your submission demonstrates value by contributing to accessibility, environmental sustainability, or the improvement of people’s lives.
Execution
Your submission is superbly executed, demonstrating high quality and meticulous attention to detail, and is completely free of bugs and glitches."
Even if your app might be superseded by giants one way or another, you gained tremendous amount of insight when rolling up your sleeves and actually implement such system! That’s the most important thing. Even though I know you strive for a win.
These are all subjective, that’s the thing, so in reality, you don’t know the exact basis you’ll be graded.
I think that the score card probably has these rubrics. Judging will be always somewhat subjective.
