Hello,

I am requesting a manual review and restoration of Gemini API access for my project.

Error (all models, all keys):

POST generativelanguage.googleapis.com/v1beta/models/{model}:generateContent
403 PERMISSION_DENIED "Your project has been denied access. Please contact support."

Project details

  • Project ID: [WPISZ PROJECT ID]
  • Project number: [WPISZ PROJECT NUMBER]
  • Account type: Google Workspace domain (reduks.pl)
  • Region: Poland
  • Billing: [free tier / enabled — skreśl niewłaściwe]
  • API key created via Google AI Studio

What I verified

  • models.list works correctly and returns the full model catalogue, so the key itself is valid and the Generative Language API is enabled.
  • generateContent returns 403 on every model I am entitled to: gemini-flash-latest, gemini-flash-lite-latest, gemini-3.1-flash-lite, gemini-3-flash-preview, gemini-3.5-flash-lite, gemma-4-31b-it.
  • gemini-pro-latest returns 429 (quota) rather than 403, which suggests the denial is applied selectively rather than to the whole project.
  • gemini-2.5-flash and gemini-2.5-flash-lite return 404 (“no longer available to new users”).
  • No prior usage history, no policy violations. The project has never successfully completed a generateContent call.

Use case
A small construction-materials business in Poland. The API would classify incoming supplier documents (invoices, delivery notes, quotations in German and Polish) and translate product terminology between Polish and German for an internal price-list search tool. Low volume — a few hundred short requests per month. No end-user-facing content generation.

Please try the below steps:

  1. Check Model Availability & Rate Limits:

    • Ensure that the model you are requesting is available on your current plan. For example, not all models are available on the free tier. You can verify model availability, quotas, and limits on the AI Studio Rate Limit dashboard.

    • If verifying your account does not restore access (or if using a model requiring a paid tier), you can unlock access by adding prepayment credits directly in Google AI Studio or attaching a Google Cloud Billing account in the Google Cloud Console.
