When Stitch designs a new web page I right click and choose to view for a Browser. It then redraws the page showing just the section that will display. How do I revert back to the full design view for the selected page?
Hey @andrebruton, to view your content correctly on larger screens, you’ll need to set the project to Desktop layout at the start. If you’ve already built a mobile version, just prompt Stitch to regenerate this as a desktop screen. Once that’s done, you can switch the preview to desktop mode to see the full layout. Hope this helps!
I am too having this issue. Did you ever find a solution to this? I found the earlier reply to be completely off-topic.
The above solution worked for me. Hover over the image and then select the various devices. Desktop resets to the initial screen.
Interesting. When I start a new web design request. It will create a long web page that would normally require scrolling, so 1280x7000 maybe… stitch would show the WHOLE long design.
But after selecting desktop 1280x1024 or mobile or another size screen, it’s not possible to view the whole design in the designer mode again. Or at least I’ve not yet found it.
The only thing I have found to view the whole design is to choose Preview, “New Tab”. But now I have left Designer mode.
I’d like to see the whole long design as original. Is there a way to get back to this in designer mode?
I have the same issue. Have you found a solution?
I gave up using Stitch. It kept giving images instead of html code.
This is driving me crazy. I want to return to full screen mode, but can’t.
Hi Rishabh, this doesn’t seem to address the issue that everyone is having (see comments below).
I was having this same issue. What worked for me was selecting the page, then grabbing one of the corner points and dragging down to reveal the sections as you pull.
Hey @andrebruton, that should not be the case as the system always provides the code along with the design. Just select the screen, click on More, and then select View Code. From there, you can easily copy it or export it to other available tools.
Yes, this works. Thanks for confirming!
Hey @Aaron_Katz, try expanding the screens from the corner in such cases. Alternatively, you can try prompting Stitch to fix the layout specifically it works in most cases.
