We are requesting access to the restricted high-resolution upscale capability for an image editing and inpainting feature within one of our active products.
Why This Is Required
Our core workflow involves processing and modifying high-quality images via the Vertex AI REST API. When users apply regional inpainting/editing to specific areas of a high-resolution image, the edited segments currently render at a significantly lower resolution fallback.
This creates a noticeable visual quality mismatch between the untouched high-res areas and the newly edited zones, which directly affects the user experience of our product.
To ensure seamless integration and maintain uniform image resolution after our inpainting processes, we need access to the restricted high-resolution upscale endpoint.
