Use case:
I’m building a personal video automation pipeline that turns song lyrics into a short animated music video (Korean “Joseon-hiphop” style). I already generate consistent character/background images with Gemini image models on these projects, and want to animate a single reference image into a short (4-second) video clip using Veo.
Error encountered:
Calling generate_videos (and the equivalent REST predictLongRunning endpoint) for veo-3.1-fast-generate-preview, veo-3.0-generate-preview, veo-3.0-generate-001, and veo-2.0-generate-001 all return the same error:
404 NOT_FOUND: “Publisher model … was not found or your project does not have access to it.”
The Video task option also doesn’t appear in the Vertex AI Studio Media Generation UI for either project.
