Request for review — 403 PERMISSION_DENIED — MF Portfolio X-Ray project denied access

Hello Gemini API Team,

I am requesting a review of Gemini API access for my project.

Project name: MF Portfolio X-Ray

Project ID: gen-lang-client-05780471..

The Gemini API is enabled for the project and a new Gemini API key has been created. However, every content-generation request returns: HTTP 403 PERMISSION_DENIED “Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”

Troubleshooting completed:

  • Created a new Gemini API key

  • Confirmed the key is associated with this project

  • Confirmed the Gemini API / Generative Language API is enabled

  • Tested using the official Google GenAI Python SDK

  • Tested using the Interactions API

  • Tested with gemini-3.1-flash-lite

  • Google Cloud Console records the API requests, but they return 100% errors

  • No project suspension or policy warning is visible in Google Cloud Console

  • The project is currently on the Free Tier

  • No billing account has been attached

  • 2-Step Verification is enabled on my Google account

  • Phone verification is complete

  • Date of birth is present and there is no age-verification requirement

  • The application is a low-volume development project for analysing Indian mutual-fund portfolio data. Gemini would only be used as a natural-language interface/explanation layer; the financial calculations are performed separately by the application. I would like to remain on the Free Tier.

  • Could you please review whether there is an automated security, eligibility, Trust & Safety, or project-level restriction preventing Gemini API content generation for this project? I have not included any API keys or private credentials.
