Request for Manual Review with my account: Account Restricted / Billing Unavailable (Free Tier)

Hello Google AI Studio / Gemini API Team,

I am requesting a manual review of my account restrictions in Google AI Studio.

Currently, all projects under my account show a status of “Restricted”, and the Billing Tier displays “Set up billing — Unavailable”. I intend to use the Gemini API strictly within the Free Tier for personal learning and basic non-commercial application testing.

Account & Project Details:

  • Account Email: x…@gmail.com
  • Project 1 ID: rising-method-509213-.. (My Project 87327)
  • Project 2 ID: compelling-art-503311-.. (My Project 67512)
  • Intended Usage: Non-commercial testing / development under Free Tier quotas.

Actions Taken on My Side:

  1. Configured account security: Added Passkey and verified 2-Step Verification (2SV) is active on my Google Account.
  2. Confirmed that my profile date of birth / age verification is fully complete (adult).
  3. Verified that no policy-violating automated requests or excessive traffic were made.

It seems my account might have been caught by an automated anti-abuse flag during project creation. Could a member of the Google AI Studio team please manually inspect my account and restore Free Tier access?

It seems like your projects are flagged by automated account security checks. To unblock this error, you should consider upgrading to a paid plan. You could add prepayment credits directly in Google AI Studio and/ or by attaching an active billing account in the Google Cloud Console.
