Request for Manual Review - Gemini CLI Access Disabled for Google AI Pro Account

Hello Google AI team,

I am a Google AI Pro subscriber and recently lost access to Gemini CLI / Gemini Code Assist on my account.

I believe this may have been triggered by my previous use of a local third-party proxy/integration for personal development workflows. I misunderstood the policy and thought it was acceptable for local personal use. I was not attempting to resell access, share my account, bypass quotas, or abuse the service.

After realizing this may violate the Terms of Service or trigger abuse protections, I have stopped using the proxy/integration and will only use official access methods going forward, such as Gemini CLI, Gemini Code Assist, Google AI Studio API keys, or Google Cloud authorized APIs.

Could you please perform a manual review of my account and consider restoring access to Gemini CLI / Gemini Code Assist?

Account email:
h....@gmail.com

Subscription:
Google AI Pro / Gemini Pro

Approximate time access was disabled:
18th/May 2026

What I have done:
- Stopped using the third-party proxy/integration
- Will use only official supported access methods going forward
- Will follow Gemini CLI / Code Assist usage policies and quota limits

Thank you for your help, and I apologize for the unintentional violation

Hi @Jeff_Nivala ,

This forum is dedicated to AI studio, so I’m not 100% sure we can help, but we might be able to point you in the right direction.

May I ask precisely what error you’re getting and in what tool? Screenshots would be helpful.
