Hello Google Gemini API Team,
I am requesting a manual review of my Gemini API Free Tier access.
My Google AI Studio project currently shows:
- Project status: Restricted
- Billing tier: Unavailable
- API response: HTTP 403 PERMISSION_DENIED
- Error message: “Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”
I want to use the Gemini API Free Tier only and do not want to enable paid billing.
I have already completed the recommended verification steps:
- Age confirmed as 18+
- Phone number verified
- Email/recovery information verified
- 2-Step Verification enabled
- Created a fresh Gemini API key after completing verification
- Tested a minimal
generateContentrequest using the official Google Gen AI Python SDK - The request reaches Google successfully but returns HTTP 403

My intended use is a low-volume data dashboard and AI assistant for development/testing. Gemini is being used for natural-language query interpretation and narrative explanation over governed data.
I would like to remain on the Free Tier. Please review whether an automated eligibility/security restriction has been applied to my account or project and whether Free Tier access can be restored.
I have not included any API keys or private credentials.
