Hello Gemini API team,
Please manually review and restore access to this newly created Gemini API project. The project appears to have been flagged by mistake.

- Project name: LUSSZON Gemini CS
- Project ID: gen-lang-client-09816962..

{

"code": 403,
"message": "Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.",
"status": "PERMISSION_DENIED"
}
}
Checks already completed
- Vietnam is listed as a supported Gemini API region.
- AI Studio shows an active free-tier quota for Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite: 10 RPM, 250K TPM, and 20 RPD.
- The project page shows no policy warning or violation banner.
- The API key was generated in AI Studio, is stored privately, and has not been shared publicly.
- A minimal request reaches the official Gemini API endpoint but is rejected at the project level.
- During project/key setup, AI Studio briefly reported “The request is suspicious”, so this may be an automated abuse-filter false positive.
- We have not attempted to bypass the restriction or create replacement projects.
This project is intended only for a Vietnamese customer-service draft assistant. It remains human-review-only and does not perform automatic external actions.
Could the Gemini API team please manually review the project/account flag and restore API access, or provide the specific verification step required?
Thank you.
Manual review please did I do something im not aware about
Hello @zon_luss,
Getting a 403 API error response and / or seeing “Unavailable” next to your project in AI audio indicates a flag has been placed on your account. To proceed:
-
Check for banners / error callouts in the AI Studio Projects page & the Billing page.
-
If the issue isn’t clear from the above, contact Cloud Billing Support.
Hello @Sai_Deepika_K,
Thank you for your reply. I checked both pages as suggested:
- AI Studio Projects shows “LUSSZON Gemini CS” (Project ID: gen-lang-client-09816962..) as “Unavailable”.
- Gemini API requests still return 403 PERMISSION_DENIED.
- The Billing page shows 0 projects and asks for prepayment, but this project was created for free-tier Gemini API evaluation.
I am not aware of any policy violation or abusive activity on this new project. Could the appropriate Google team please manually review the account/project flag and remove the restriction? If this forum cannot perform the review, please provide the exact official appeal or support route for an account-level Gemini API flag.
Thank you.
Hello @zon_luss , @The_Sanders_Manageme ,
Getting a 403 API error response and / or seeing “Unavailable” next to your project in AI audio indicates a flag has been placed on your account. To proceed:
-
If you’re on the free tier with no billing attached, you should consider setting up billing. In most cases this is enough to clear any flag on your account. Please note this will mean you lose your free tier quota. You should also see a banner in AI studio prompting you to set up billing.
-
If you are on a paid tier, check for banners / error callouts in the AI Studio Projects page & the Billing page. Mostly these flags cause visible banners or other errors on these pages with concrete next steps / appeal links. You can also check the email address associated with your project for information on next steps.
