Hello Google team,

What happens today
All requests are filtered. The operation finishes with no video and returns:
rai_media_filtered_reasons = "Sorry, we can't create videos with real people's names or likenesses. Please remove the celebrity reference and try again."
The prompts contain no celebrity or public-figure names. The filtered likeness is my own face, in images generated from my own studio photographs.
Use case
I run BIOPDI, a Brazilian manufacturer of materials-testing equipment (universal testing machines, compression and flexural tests). We publish short educational videos (about 40 seconds, vertical) that explain standard mechanical tests to engineers and quality-control professionals. I am the on-screen host. Today we produce them as 2D cartoons, and we want a realistic version with the same host: me.
Safeguards
- Single subject: only my own likeness. No other real person, no public figures, no minors, no third-party photos.
- I give my explicit, written consent to generate videos of my likeness for my company’s educational content, and I can provide a signed declaration privately if needed.
- Every published video will be labeled as AI-generated, including the “altered or synthetic content” disclosure on YouTube and the AI labels on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
- Content is technical and educational only: no political, news-like, deceptive, sexual or harmful content, and no impersonation of anyone else.
- We comply with the Gemini API Additional Terms of Service, the Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy, and Google’s generative AI usage policies.
If this request belongs to a different channel (for example Vertex AI or a form), please point me to it and I will submit it there.
Thank you,
Mardoqueu Martins da Costa
Owner, BIOPDI
