With the upcoming July 7 shut down of Gemini AI Ultra, I set up Antigravity to run on my Google Cloud account. This included purchasing a Gemini Enterprise license and turning on all of the appropriate Agent and Gemini APIs.
With this setup, I can see the 3.5 models in Antigravity just fine, but if I try to use 3.1 Pro, I get a “selected model not available in selected region” error. I’m based in the US. After hours of trying to troubleshoot with Gemini, the best it could tell me is that it’s a known problem and I should contact support.
Has anyone else dealt with this issue? It wouldn’t surprise me to find that I missed one key setting in GCP. It also wouldn’t surprise me if it was a real Google bug that was causing the issue.
I just need to sort it out before the July 7 deadline. Or hope it’s fixed when 3.5 pro is released.
