Recent Antigravity Changes Have Seriously Hurt the Experience
I usually do not post negative feedback, but this update genuinely frustrated me enough to write this.
The two biggest issues are:
1. Massive Reduction in Usable Limits
Earlier versions allowed long, practical workflows without constantly worrying about usage.
Now:
- Limits feel far more restrictive
- Lighter/preview models are gone
- Everything is forced onto Medium/High models
- The experience feels throttled much faster
What made Antigravity enjoyable was freedom and iteration speed. That feeling is mostly gone now.
2. Loss of the Same-Screen Editor + Agent Workflow
This was honestly the BEST part of Antigravity.
Earlier:
- Editor and Agent worked together naturally
- You could code, inspect, iterate, and orchestrate in one smooth flow
- The experience felt futuristic and productivity-focused
Now:
- Workflow feels fragmented
- Context switching feels worse
- The editor-agent interaction no longer feels seamless
This single change alone significantly reduced the usability for me.
A lot of users liked Antigravity specifically because it felt flexible, fast, and unrestricted compared to alternatives.
Right now it feels like the platform moved in the opposite direction.
Please consider:
- Restoring better usable limits
- Bringing back lighter/preview models
- Restoring the same-screen editor + agent workflow
- Giving users more workflow flexibility again
