what a disaster, eh? I’ve got workshops booked with customers where I was planning to show them how to use AI Studio in their workplace, but this has been broken for days. If it’s not resolved within the next 2 days, I will be cancelling my account and using Claude instead.
Just echoing the same everyone’s said so far. And unfortunately for me, I started using AI Studio at the same time it updated, so I don’t even know what it’s like to publish an app yet.
is there any update on this? My apps are stalled in deployment and the error “Publishing is temporarily disabled while we work on system updates. Check back soon” for weeks now after the studio update
I had the same Problem. Removing AI features from the app worked for me.

Since early March I have been unable to publish apps from Gemini AI Studio. Each attempt returns the message that publishing is temporarily disabled for system updates.
I’m unclear how widespread this is. I’m concerned if it’s not everyone, then it’s not being prioritized to get fixed - and the timeframe to date suggests that’s the case.
At this point I have paused using Gemini AI Studio. Without any visibility or ETA, it is difficult to rely on the platform for building and deploying apps.
If a rep from Google familiar with this issue can provide an update and guidance what to expect from here, it would be appreciated.
