I installed Antigravity to a non-default directory, which caused all kinds of hidden issues that didn’t present themselves until days later. Everything seemed to be working fine. Then today I started it up and found my cache had ballooned to 4x the size it was when I shut down Antigravity last night. Multiple hidden processes were running even when the program was closed, just constantly spewing errors into the log.
This had the knock-on effect of locking up a process in one of my agent chats history, made that chat impossible to delete, and consumed about 60% of my weekly Claude limit.
While I was sleeping. And the IDE was shut down.
