My Gemini API project was previously on Tier 2, but it has been downgraded to Tier 1 without any notice.
- Billing plan: Prepay
- Cumulative payment on the linked billing account: about JPY 17,000 (over USD 100)
- First successful payment: 【初めて支払った年月 例: 2026-05】 (well over 3 days ago)
- Current prepay balance: positive (about JPY 14,000)
- No failed payments, billing account is active
- Downgrade noticed around: 【気づいた日 例: 2026-09-15】
According to the usage tier table, Tier 2 requires “Paid $100 + 3 days from first successful payment”, so the project should qualify for Tier 2.
Impact: I use gemini-2.5-pro-preview-tts / gemini-2.5-flash-preview-tts for daily video production, and I now hit the Tier 1 daily request limit (429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED) every day.
The “Gemini API Tier Downgrade Report Form” is closed (“issue has been resolved”), but my project is still on Tier 1. Could you please review and restore the tier? I can share the project number via private message.
