# Prepaid balance showing $0.19 in AI Studio despite $20.96 unspent adjustment in Cloud Billing Ledger

Hi everyone,

I am experiencing the known AI Studio prepaid balance synchronization bug. On Saturday (Sept 5), I made a manual prepayment of **US$25.00** to transition to Tier 1.

After a local VAT deduction of **US$4.04** , my net funding amount was **US$20.96**. My Google Cloud Billing **Cost Table** correctly reflects this as an unspent credit under **“Adjustments (US$20.96)”** with zero project-level infrastructure or API usage charges. My Postpay history is completely empty.

However, the Gemini API / AI Studio interface is failing to read this pool. It shows an ending balance of **US$0.19** , falsely triggering credit depletion errors when I try to make simple requests using the Gemini 2.5 Flash-Lite model.

Could a community manager or Google support representative please request a **manual balance synchronization** for my AI Studio prepay bucket?  
(Note: I am attaching screenshots of my Prepay Ledger and Cost Table for verification.)

Hello @Savanna ,

Please note that there is no manual billing sync process at our end and this is not a bug, its intended behaviour. The discrepancy you observed occurs because the amount reflected in your GCP Billing Cost Table represents a Cloud credit, which is separate from the AIS prepayment wallet credit. The AIS prepayment wallet will only show the amount that is directly added by you in [AIS billing](https://aistudio.google.com/billing).
