Persistent "You are currently offline" - 401

The AI Studio web application fails to complete initialization and displays a persistent “You are currently offline” error.
Network inspection reveals the internal token generation RPC is failing with HTTP 401 CREDENTIALS_MISSING.

RPC Details:

• Endpoint: POST https://alkalimakersuite-pa.clients6.google.com/$rpc/google.internal.alkali.applications.makersuite.v1.MakerSuiteService/GenerateAccessToken
• HTTP Status: 401 Unauthorized
• Error Code: CREDENTIALS_MISSING
• Service: alkalimakersuite-pa.googleapis.com
• Method: MakerSuiteService.GenerateAccessToken

To help us investigate this issue further, could you please confirm a few diagnostic details:

1. Does this issue still occur when opening Google AI Studio in a clean Incognito/Private browsing window with all extensions (especially ad/privacy blockers) disabled?
2. Are you signed in with a standard personal Google Account (@gmail.com) or a managed Google Workspace account?
3. If you test from an alternative network (e.g. mobile hotspot) or disable any active VPN/proxies, does the connection succeed?
