Hello Support Team,
I am experiencing a persistent “HTTP 429 Too Many Requests (RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED)” error in Google AntiGravity.
This error has been occurring consistently for the past week. I recently upgraded to the Student Plus plan, so my quota should not be exhausted. I have already attempted the following troubleshooting steps without success:
-
Switched between multiple different network connections to rule out IP bans.
-
Logged in with different accounts.
-
Performed a fresh launch/login of AntiGravity.
This appears to be a backend routing or quota-syncing issue. Below are the technical details of the blocked request for your investigation:
JSON
{
"error": {
"code": 429,
"message": "Resource has been exhausted (e.g. check quota).",
"status": "RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED"
}
}
- Headers:
{"X-Cloudaicompanion-Trace-Id":["2936b41c7f4cd9.."], "Date":["Wed, 16 Sep 2026 09:29:11 GMT"]}
Could you please investigate this trace and correct the quota synchronization on my account?
Thank you,
Rooshan Ali
Hi @Rooshan_Ali ,
Could you please follow these steps:
-
Verify Subscription Status: Visit https://one.google.com/settings to ensure your Student Plus plan renewal is active and linked to the Google Account used to sign into Antigravity.
-
Reset Authentication Cache:
- Open Antigravity.
- Open the Command Palette using `Ctrl+Shift+P` (Windows/Linux) or `Cmd+Shift+P` (macOS).
- Type and select `Antigravity: Reset Onboarding`.
- Complete the sign-in flow to fetch a fresh token containing your updated Student Plus quota claims.
- Alternatively, close Antigravity and delete the local cache file at
`~/.config/antigravity/auth_cache.json` (Linux/macOS) or `%APPDATA%\Antigravity\auth_cache.json` (Windows) before re-launching
-
Ensure you are running the latest version of Antigravity by checking for updates in your IDE settings.
Let me know is the issue resolves or the issue still persists.
Hi Ambati,
Thank you for the detailed steps.
I followed the instructions to verify my subscription status, reset the authentication cache, and ensure Antigravity is updated to the latest version.
Unfortunately, the issue still persists on my end.
It still shows this error:
