Permission Denied 403: "Your project has been denied access" on a new US developer account

Hello Google AI Developer Relations Team,

I am a developer based in the United States. I recently created a brand-new project on Google AI Studio to generate an API key for a personal automation project (using Google Apps Script to triage my personal emails).

However, immediately upon project creation, I encountered the following 403 PERMISSION_DENIED error when calling the API:
“Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”

This error occurs even when I try creating another brand-new project on this account. I believe my account/project has been incorrectly flagged by the automated anti-abuse system.

Could you please help review my project and restore API access? Here are my project details:

  • Use Case: Personal email classification using Gemini.
