I am using the Gemini API for a simple task where it looks up publicly available education information for a list of prominent individuals for a research project.
Using the exact same prompt and individual, all my tries from 3.1 Pro and 3.0 Flash gets blocked, while if I try 3.1 Lite or other models, I’m able to get the output without any issues.
3.1 Pro also conducts the search, starts generating the output, but somewhere there the output gets blocked on AI studio and simply stops when I’m using the API. The only models that do this seem to be 3.1 Pro and 3.0 Flash, the rest of the models work.
Since other models’ outputs gets through this filter but 3.1 Pro seems to get blocked, I wanted to raise this issue as a possible bug.
