Optimization Issue or Shifting Rules? The Mystery Behind Antigravity’s IA Pro Credits (Again)

This week, I hit the exact same wall once again: my credits on Antigravity’s IA Pro account are vanishing at an inexplicable rate.

As a developer, this tool is a core part of my daily workflow. I rely on it to maintain my production pace, but this lack of predictability in credit consumption is becoming a critical issue. This isn’t about an atypical, high-intensity spike in usage either; while running my standard tasks and the usual debugging sessions, the counter is simply plummeting.

When you integrate a technology into your professional pipeline, stability is non-negotiable. Watching resources disappear overnight leaves you wondering: has there been a silent increase in the cost per token? Did the context window management change under the hood? Or are we looking at a straight-up optimization glitch on the platform?

Disrupting delivery timelines due to unpredictable service costs just isn’t sustainable for long-term work.

To my fellow developers out there: has anyone else noticed an accelerated drain on your credits over the last few days? Let me know in the comments—I’d love to cross-reference some data.

PD: I have strictly used Gemini 3.5 Flash (Low).

Yes, i´m on same “issue”.
For what i understand, there´s a bug between the quota limits you see on the antigravity model screen and the real consumption.

But since nobody from google is saying anything, no documentation, nobody understand what those quota limits are in real. Becauise there´s a lot of people having this problem or similar.

For example, last week, every time, randomly, my quotas goes from 100% to 20%, then to 100% again, then to 20% again, … even without doing anything.

Today in fact, sudenly my quotas goes down to 20%, and just a moment ago, goes again to 100%, but i didn´t use it at all!!

Also using just 3.5 medium in my case, since i can´t select low model, another bug.

In another hand, you can see the limits usage under Gemini Limits, and there you see other % diferent too.

So, i don´t know what´s going on.

Do you have any background tools that call AG without your knowledge?

I’m only using Antigravity IDE, and on the Gemini Flash 3.5 Low model.
