Old ai.studio URL is still live after republishing my app under a new URL

Hi Google AI Studio team,

I need help releasing an old AI Studio custom URL.

My old published URL is:
https://marshai- studio.ai.studio/

This old URL is still LIVE and publicly accessible right now, and it is serving my previous/older version of the website.

I have already republished the current version of the same app using:
https://marshai- studio8.ai.studio/

The new URL is working correctly and shows Ready in the Publish panel.

I checked Google AI Studio → My Apps, and I only have two apps listed. The old marshai-studio.ai.studio deployment does not appear as a separate app that I can unpublish.

However, the old URL is still publicly accessible, and Google AI Studio says that the old name already exists when I try to use it.

I would like Google AI Studio to release/unpublish the old marshai-studio.ai.studio URL/deployment association only, without affecting my current:

marshai-studio8.ai.studio

Please do not delete or modify my current app, Firestore database, Google Drive integration, or current published deployment.

This appears to be an old/stale deployment or custom URL association.

I can provide my App ID and Google AI Studio login email privately if needed.

Thank you.

Here is a way to kill off old url’s

First off you need something in the same project or make up something simple and set it for the same project. You don’t have to publish it and can delete it after.
On the right is the square with the arrow click that
It will take you to the page of apps in that project check the box beside the now redundant one look up top you now have a select actions dropdown select delete and that should do it
If you want to check go to the old url and it should say nothing here

Hello @sol8 ,

  • You need to manually delete the cloud run service by going to the GCP console. Follow the below steps:

    • Go to Cloud run services here: https://console.cloud.google.com/run/services. Do not click on the cloud run instance, stay on the services page. Make sure you are in the right GCP project.

    • Select the service corresponding to the AI Studio App.

    • Delete the service.

  • Reference Screenshot:

Post this, both the service and the URL should stop serving.
