Navigating Antigravity Pro Quota Limits

I also encountered a strange credit limit across different accounts. My family has a family pro plan for our google accounts, yet none use Antigravity. When my credits ran out, I logged out and logged back in using one of their accounts, yet credits weren’t refreshed.
I tried logging out, closing the app, opening it, then logging back in, yet nothing changed. I did not want to delete the app cache since it contains information still needed.
Using a different machine did not fix the issue (so I assume a VM also wouldn’t), likely because the accounts are on a family pro plan, not individual pro plans, yet it still doesn’t make sense to me that if I ran out of my credits, no one in my family can use Antigravity. If someone knows a fix to this, it would be a great help.

I tried the Opus model so that I wouldn’t use up the entire limit within 5 hours. I left 20% remaining, and to my surprise, the refresh showed the usage bar loading up to 60%, and now the next refresh is in a week. I wonder if, after waiting a week, it will refresh to 100% or to 80% with a new threshold? Where can I verify this? Is there an FAQ? Because right now, this seems like a scheme to rip off users.

Yeah they changed that about 2 weeks ago. Every family member had a base limit. Now every family member shares the one base limit. All it takes now is one family member and 15 minutes use and every family member has to use paid for credits.
I went to Windsurf and now my son uses the Google “family” account by himself.

same here. burned through 1000 credits

I’m facing the same long wait times too, and I have no clue what’s happening here

What frustrates me most is that we have absolutely no control over the context window, so it just swallows up the quota. And out of nowhere, I’m slapped with a 7-day wait time instead of the usual 5 hours. This makes no sense for a Pro subscription

no you are not, unfortunately the new AG is very erratic and consumes your quota on simple prompt(s) without even doing what it is supposed to, rather it is even very arrogant and it is doing things no one asked for while obliterating your work even if you did it manually.

The primary problem is a non-transparent and variable quota limit of 5-hours, 6-days, 7-days, and 10-days. There’s simply no reasonable explanation on what is clearly punitive treatment of paid customers.

  1. Quota limit should be clearly stated.
  2. Quota limit cannot exceed 24-hours.

In the latest episode as the usage meter was ticking down, quota refresh showed 1 hour. However when the quota was exhausted it showed 1.5 days. On the following day when it was within 6 hours, it changed to 3 hours and then 10 hours. This is while there was no work performed and no actions taken.

I can’t believe the team at Google did this. It was one thing having to deal with 5 hour lockouts (I usually ended up with 60 minutes or so of inturuption which I could just switch to a lessor model for a short time)

The new quota/usage lock makes the Ultra tier completely unusable for development workflows. A multi-day lockout on a paid premium account is unacceptable and is forcing me to strongly consider canceling my subscription and switch back to Cursor immediately. At this point the value proposition is better with Cursor.

I am also considering the pro/con of switching back to using our internal LLM we have running in the office.

It is not our fault that the entire AI vertical is stuck on step 2 .

As far as loops go? Why not stop seeing the LLM agents with prompts that create these loops? I can’t count the number of times I have had to stop an agent in Antigravity from running builds over and over again. Or the number of sessions where every message I sent resulted in the LLM doing the exact same Grep before moving forward. “Do A, Grep, Great job now do B, Same Grep, Hey you missed this on this page and at this line, Same Grep from step one”

Having been a Google User since Gmail was invite only. I find the current state of affairs very disapointing. Your post above reads like a laundry list of “Developers this is your fault,” “Hey look over here because if you look at my hands you will see the trick in the magic,” “Oh you developers and your endless loops, its your fault,”

The truth is you nailed Step 1, want Step 3, and never figured out Step 2: how to make profit. Instead of blaming us developers, giving us less value for the dollar, creating systems that mask AI usage, and automate AI spending, HOW ABOUT JUST MAKING A BETTER LLM that developers actualy want to use. Gemini is barely passing today. It is a fallback model when you pay gate the others, and at 200 dollars per month, why am I not just going straight to the source and pumping the OPUS right into my IDE? My answer: because I believed in Google.

When you actually use a PRO account, it feels like a free account; there’s not a big difference in how long the usage tokens last.

Im on an Ultra account with Google. Which i loved for the first 30 days.

The rate limit is 7 days. Then within less than 15 minutes (on the same single task) the rate limit never hits a 5 hour limit. It goes straight to 7 day limit.

The app is buggy and broken because of all the damn AI vibe coders that work at google now.

That was the case, but since I got back to the ‘project’ about a week and a half ago, I haven’t managed to reach 7 days. I’ve done 15 hours straight, and each time the limit was 5 hours in PRO plan. Unless that applies to continuous use of Flash 3.5 High. I actually use 3.1 Pro High, because it’s brilliant and I can get the job done in 5 hours without any waiting.

This really sucks, I’ve been a subscriber for a year and I’m just so fed up…
especially when I really, desperately need it.. the reset system is completely unclear!

Same, Ultra lost its purpose after they took away the Ai credits.

It’s so frustrating. I have a Google Cloud account with active billing from the company I am consulting for, and I need to use it on Antigravity to run their projects.

Unfortunately, the IDE is completely ignoring my GCP project credentials and keeps throwing the ‘individual/personal usage quota reached’ error. This happened suddenly today, right after opening the app for the first time in over a week.

It’s incredibly disappointing to see this product become unusable due to auth/sync bugs. Since Antigravity is currently broken for enterprise environments, I will have to ask the company to switch to Claude or OpenAI. Antigravity is simply unusable right now.
