I am unable to use Stitch with my Google account. The Stitch project list fails to load, and I also cannot create a new project.
The browser console repeatedly shows the following error:
User is not enabled for Stitch (CAN_ACCESS_STITCH=true, isStitchEnabledInCountry=false, IS_INTERNAL_TESTER=false)
I have already tried:
Clearing browser/site data
Using Incognito mode
Switching networks
Checking my Google account country/region
Checking my Google Payments country/region
Leaving the unavailable Google Family Group
Re-logging into my Google account
My Google Payments country/region is Japan, and my current IP location is also Japan.
My Google account is an adult personal account.
Could you please check whether my Google account has been incorrectly excluded from Stitch access or whether there is an issue with the regional eligibility flag for my account?
Could you please confirm whether Stitch is currently available in mainland China, and whether the isStitchEnabledInCountry=false result is expected for accounts whose Google Play country is China?
If Stitch is available in mainland China, could you please check whether my account is being incorrectly classified by the regional eligibility check?
Hey @lichen, thank you for providing the additional context regarding your location and account setup!
To directly answer your questions: Google Stitch is currently not supported in mainland China, and receiving isStitchEnabledInCountry=false is the expected system behavior when connecting from an unsupported region or when an account is associated with a China region profile.
Your account itself is in good standing (CAN_ACCESS_STITCH=true confirms your account has valid permissions). However, the regional check evaluates real-time connection signals alongside account settings. If background WebRTC requests expose the true origin IP, or if the account profile is registered to an unsupported region, the system sets isStitchEnabledInCountry=false and blocks project creation.
