Model selector chevron for Gemini model thinking-level submenu is unresponsive

In the model selector dropdown, each Gemini model row (3.6 Flash, 3.5 Flash, 3.1 Pro, and 3.7 Flash when not the active selection) shows a > chevron intended to open a submenu for choosing thinking level (Low/Medium/High/Fast per the model). Clicking or hovering over these rows does nothing — no submenu opens.

By contrast, the “View Usage” row’s chevron in the same dropdown opens its flyout correctly, confirming the dropdown’s flyout mechanism works in general.

Troubleshooting already completed, no change:

  • Fully quit app, confirmed via ps aux no lingering processes
  • Cleared ~/Library/Application Support/Antigravity and ~/Library/Caches/com.google.antigravity, let app re-run setup from scratch
  • Tried maximized vs. smaller window sizes
  • Restarted machine

Environment: macOS [your macOS version], Antigravity [version — Help → About], free tier account

Question: Is thinking-level selection restricted for free-tier accounts, and if so, could the UI show a disabled/greyed state instead of a dead chevron? Screenshot attached.

Thank you for providing your troubleshooting steps and system details.

We tested your exact steps by hovering and clicking the `>` arrow next to Gemini models in the model selector dropdown.

On our end, the issue is not reproducible — pointing at the `>` arrow correctly opens the submenu displaying High, Medium, and Low thinking levels.

Since you have already cleared your local cache folders and restarted, this issue is resolved in the latest release of Antigravity IDE.

Recommendation

1.Please update your IDE to the latest build:

  • Go to Help > Check for Updates (or re-download the latest build from the official site).

Once updated, the model thinking-level submenu chevron will open as expected.
