Vectelos Duty is a remote MCP server that computes US import duty for goods whose HTS code is already known. For each line it returns the published column 1 rate, every Chapter 99 trade remedy that stacks on it (Section 301, Section 232, U.S. note 52), and the entry fees (MPF and HMF), from the current Harmonized Tariff Schedule revision. A line it cannot compute honestly comes back refused with a reason, never as zero. It does not classify goods.
Remote MCP endpoint: vectelos (https, Streamable HTTP)
Authentication: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE (S256). Supports dynamic client registration and client ID metadata documents, so no client ID needs to be entered. Protected resource metadata is advertised in the 401 WWW-Authenticate header.
Tools (5): compute_entry_duty, compute_line_duties, lookup_tariff_line, get_schedule_revision, get_balance, each with a title and tool hints.
Pricing: 100 free duty checks per verified email.
Website and support: vectelos
Setup guide: vectelos
Also listed on: the official MCP Registry (com.vectelos/duty) and the Claude connectors directory.
Sample configuration:
{
"mcpServers": {
"vectelos-duty": {
"serverUrl": "vecteloscom"
}
}
}
Tested in Antigravity CLI 1.2.11: after adding the server, open /mcp, select vectelos-duty, authenticate, and sign in in the browser. Example prompts:
- Which US tariff schedule revision is Vectelos Duty using?
- Look up HTS 8708.30.50 for goods from China in Vectelos Duty.
- How many Vectelos Duty checks do I have left?
Results are an advisory estimate, not customs advice or a CBP filing.
