Manual billing sync request — 429 "prepayment credits are depleted" despite funded account (10+ days)

Hello Google team,

Requesting a manual billing sync for the known prepay/billing-sync bug.

Details:
Project name: Default Gemini Project
Project ID: gen-lang-client-05617252..
Billing account: My Billing Account
Billing account ID: 018A32-2D7729-8DFC..
Model: gemini-3.1-flash-image-preview

Status: Billing account is active and linked to the project (confirmed in Cloud Console — “Billing is enabled”). Free trial credit (₪898) is available and unused.

However, every generateContent / image generation API call returns:
429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED
“Your prepayment credits are depleted. Please go to AI Studio at https://ai.studio/projects to manage your project and billing.”

This has been ongoing for over 10 days despite the billing account being correctly funded and linked. This matches the known billing-sync bug reported by many other users in this forum.

Please advise or trigger a manual sync for this project.

Note: There is no manual billing sync process at our end.

Google Cloud promotional and free trial credits do not automatically purchase AI Studio prepaid credits. To use the Gemini API, you must maintain an active balance in your AIS prepaid wallet. Once a positive prepaid balance exists in your wallet, eligible promotional credits are consumed first before charging your prepaid funds.

Next steps:

  • Visit https://aistudio.google.com/billing to add the minimum required deposit to your AIS prepaid wallet for billing account 018A32-2D7729-8D....
  • Ensure project gen-lang-client-05617252... is linked to this active billing account.
  • If you have already added funds to your AIS prepaid wallet, generate a new API key and retry your request.
