# Manual billing sync request: 01CF52-0BAD2B-DC4B... — Inactive or unsupported despite active billing account

Billing Account ID: 01CF52-0BAD2B-DC4B..  
Project: Default Gemini Project

AI Studio shows “The billing account type is inactive or unsupported”  
despite having an active, funded Cloud Billing account (₹1,000 prepay  
balance confirmed in Cloud Console). Requesting a manual billing sync  
so my API keys unblock from the Free Tier restriction.

**Note:** There is no manual billing sync process at our end.

Please check the Google Cloud Billing Console ([https://console.cloud.google.com/billing](https://console.cloud.google.com/billing)) to ensure the billing account is open, has a valid payment method attached, and has no past-due balance or payment holds (see [https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/billing#eligible-accounts](https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/billing#eligible-accounts) and [https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/billing#missed-payment](https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/billing#missed-payment)), or link your project to a new active Cloud Billing account at [https://aistudio.google.com/billing](https://aistudio.google.com/billing).
