This week, despite using it less than usual, I’ve already hit the weekly limit. It seems the limits are getting stricter each week.
You’re right, and it’s completely intentional on their part. They want to push people to pay even more by sending them to the ULTRA plan. They don’t even offer refunds, even though they’re violating their own Terms of Service.
The 4-hour to 7-day block is an intentional block put in place to force people to pay for the Ultra plan. Just look at all the posts where they mention switching to the Ultra plan to get a better quota.
yea its very upsetting to see especially with the jump from pro to ultra
I’ve actually had the same issue with quotas seeing a very chaotic behavior and getting lockouts for multiple days while using Opus/Sonnet, then I’ve seen this reply from @Bailee and went through those links. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence, but after I followed the recommendations in those linked posts, deleted antigravity-panel and other extension for auto-accept, and actually implemented own quota monitor PS script plus own auto-accept extension with Gemini 3 (these quotas are the most generous), I have my 5-hour Claude Opus/Sonnet 4.6 quota reset again and they are back to their adequate capacity (like implementing medium backend feature with multiple phases within single 5-hour quota limit). Either there is some issue with those extensions (either malware or maybe Antigravity identifies them and “punishes” users for using them), or Google has increased the Claude quotas exactly around the same time I removed those extensions.
UPDATE: After fully using 5-hourly quota with Claude only twice within 24 hours, I can see again the lockout for the whole week. It means that the mentioned by me extensions are not the root cause and Google further keeps very low quotas on Claude models for PRO users.
Well, I tried it, but no luck… ![]()
Title: [Pro Sub - Quota Bug] Gemini 3.1 Pro Quota Suddenly Dropped to 0% with >1 Day Reset Time
Hello team,
I’ve actually had the same issue with quotas.I am an active Google AI Pro subscriber. Recently, I have encountered a severe anomaly with the quota tracking in my environment. My Gemini 3.1 Pro quota unexpectedly plummeted from around 60% directly to 0% without any corresponding heavy usage on my end.
Observations & Steps Taken:
- The Quota Monitor currently shows
0.00%for Gemini 3.1 Pro, with an abnormally long reset timer of1d 4h 52m. - Interestingly, my Gemini 3 Flash quota remains completely unaffected at
100%. - I have already tried completely clearing the local
.antigravitycache folder via PowerShell, but the locked state persists.
Impact:
This unexpected lockout is severely disrupting my active development workflow. I am currently in the middle of a critical architectural migration.
please investigate this account synchronization issue and assist in restoring the proper Pro quota state asap.
Thank you for your assistance.
Most irritating thing is there is no rationale behind the limits. Randomly anyone can get their usage blocked.
I have 0% usage for the models.
What UI is that? I don’t think it is an official extension. It might missing tokens count and not accurate.
Same here. Absolutely unacceptable. It´s unusable under these conditions so I switched to cursor.
its too irritating, any possible solution.?
how u opened this window in antigravity, i am ubuntu can u help me please
Sorry to hear all of you are having this issue. Glad i’m not the only one. Guess it was a bad idea to pay for the ultra plan to take advantage of their super generous token count. Very on brand to provide no support. Codex, Claude & Cursor - Take My Money! Good luck guys
I’m getting the same issue on a Ultra plan with light work compared to previous weeks. Seems like something has been changed or there is a quota bug.
I’m a Google AI for Business + Gemini Enterprise subscriber with Enhanced Support and am experiencing the same issue across all Claude Opus & Sonnet and Gemini 3.1 Pro model, which are mission critical for our team. Gemini 3.1 Pro is already a clear step down from the Claude models and is effectively destroying Claude’s previous work. With Only Gemini 3 Flash available until out next refresh in one week this is having a critical impact on our workflows and I’ve raised a P1 support case, which has been acknowledged, but no explanation or resolution provided after 10 hours. We may try to switch to creating and using temporary personal Gmail accounts, but that is a risky last resort that, at the very least, will result in a significant loss of invaluable session context.
Same issue here. The worst part of this is something breaking while refactoring/developing with AG and reaching quota limit, generating a lot of manual debugging.
Will have to read through the instructions I’m forcing the Agent to read; might burn too much of my quota.
I think that without creating code the quota should not be affected. Asking the agent how a function is working or analyzing a problem for me to come up with a solution or implementation plan should not affect my quota — or the user should get the question if they would accept the cost to proceed.
I know it depends on how my project is structered and how the promt is created, BUT — the Agent but sometimes burn through a lot of files for minor stuff, like ”Change function/constant X to value Y”, even though I just had the agent aiding me with that exact function/constant… Bye bye quota.
This was a bug on quota for sure,At first I got lock for 6 day on Claude (since 22/2/26)
but today after I login everything refresh to 100% and I can work again for about 1 hour then I got lock out again.
Any Googler here that plans on responding to paying customers? I’m an AI Pro user and haven’t had any chance to even use Claude due to 7 day lock!
I was blocked because I used OpenClaw. However… many third-party websites also offer Google account login, which I assumed was legitimate. If it’s not allowed on OpenClaw, Google should contact OpenClaw to have this login method removed. My Pro account, which I never used up all my credit limit on every model, always reserved some, was still blocked. I hope Google will carefully assess whether these cases constitute malicious use before deciding whether to block an account. If that’s not possible, there are alternative methods, such as using VS Code + CLINE + Claude Code.
Subject: Confirming the bug - Second time experiencing the 3-day lockout
Adding my voice here to confirm that this is a persistent and recurring issue. My Gemini 3.1 Pro quota just jumped to a 3-day reset window again, marking the second time this month.
It’s highly inconsistent—other models like Flash remain at 5 hours, while the premium 3.1 Pro model is locked out for days. As a paid user, this lack of stability in quota management is a major bottleneck. Google Team, we need a transparent explanation or a swift hotfix for this.
